Dento-Alveolar Surgery: This includes the removal of teeth, including wisdom teeth and other impactions, as well as minor procedures to assist in orthodontic care or to help prepare the mouth for bridgework or dentures. Click here for more information.

Dental Implants: Dental Implants are the standard of care in tooth replacement. Working along with your restoring dentist, a team approach is used to replace missing teeth in the most natural way. Click here for more information.

Anesthesia: To insure patient comfort, several different anesthetic options are offered. Patients may choose local anesthesia ("Novocaine"), nitrous oxide sedation ("gas"), or general anesthesia ("going to sleep"). Only the most modern anesthesia and monitoring techniques are used. Our goal is always patient safety. Patients with health problems and those taking medications should always discuss this with the doctor before making any final decisions on which type of anesthesia they request. Dr. Hoffrichter and his staff have comprehensive training in the treatment of any anesthetic emergency that may arise. Click here for more information.

Maxillofacial Pathology: Any growths of the mouth, jaws, neck or face must be evaluated immediately. While most "lumps and bumps" carry a favorable prognosis, early detection and treatment of oral cancer, when present, strongly increases the likelihood of patient survival. Click here for more information.

Corrective Jaw Surgery: Also called orthognathic surgery, this can help move poorly aligned jaws into a more functional position, correct malocclusions, and give the face a more harmonious relation to the jaws and teeth. A team approach is used, consisting of the oral surgeon, the orthodontist, the general dentist, and the patient, to ensure the best result for the patient. Click here for more information.

Facial Pain / Temporomandibular Joint Disorders: There are many causes of facial pain, many of which involve the temporomandibular joint (TMJ). Various treatment modalities, both surgical and non-surgical. can aid greatly in the reduction or elimination of facial pain. Click here for more information.

Trauma: Dr. Hoffrichter is extensively trained in the evaluation and management of facial trauma. This includes fractures of the jaws and other facial bones, as well as lacerations to the soft tissues inside the mouth as well as on the skin. Click here for more information.
